Sustainability

Because today should never come at the expense of tomorrow.

A promise from our CEO

“For me, an éclair has always been more than just a pastry. It is a small joy meant to be shared. But joy loses its meaning if it harms tomorrow. That’s why we bake with care, waste as little as possible, and always try to do better. My wish is simple: that every éclair we create brings a smile and makes the world a little kinder.”

— Florin Panaitescu, CEO & Co-Founder French Revolution

Responsibility begins with every choice

The joy created through what we do comes with real responsibility. At French Revolution, this responsibility is embraced with honesty, creativity, and care. It means attention to resources, respect for people, and commitment to the community around us. Every decision, from the ingredients used to the way food waste is reduced and the community is supported, reflects a genuine commitment to positive impact.

What B Corp is and why it matters

B Corp Certification recognizes companies that meet high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency across areas such as employee wellbeing, community giving, supply chain practices, and ingredient choices. It reflects not a product or a financial result, but a company’s overall way of working and its long-term commitment to people, community, and the environment.

The evaluation covers five key areas:

Workers

Community

Environment

Customers

Governance.

What it means for French Revolution

The certification confirms an approach present from the very beginning, built on care, respect, and attention to detail. It represents consistent actions, high standards, and sustainable rather than rapid growth.

Being a B Corp means:

  • acting with care and responsibility;
  • maintaining the highest standards;
  • growing in a sustainable way, not simply a fast one.

Where challenges meet responsibility

Food waste

Beyond certification, there is a long-standing commitment that has guided French Revolution from the early years: giving back.

Every product is created from scratch with natural, fresh ingredients. Because freshness matters, products are not sold the next day.

To avoid contributing to food waste, all unsold products are donated to partner organizations that distribute them to people in need. At the end of each year, the total value of these donations represents at least 20% of the company’s profit.

This reflects the mission to be a force for good, not just a successful business.

For French Revolution, social responsibility is not a separate project but a fundamental part of who the company is and has always been.

Packaged with purpose

Packaging should carry care. This is why recyclable, FSC-certified materials are used.

Ingredients that matter

Great taste begins with great choices: eggs from hens raised in cage-free environments, dairy from responsible farms in Normandy, premium French chocolate, and seasonal fruit. Ingredients selected with respect for people and the planet.

Energy with intention

Production relies on resources. Continuous investment in efficient equipment and smarter logistics helps reduce environmental impact.

Care for people and community

Sustainability is also about people. French Revolution invests in its team, encourages diversity, and supports the community that supports it. This commitment has been present from the very beginning and is part of the company’s identity.

For us, sustainability doesn’t mean doing less harm, but baking a future that’s just as fresh and full of joy as Today.
